A remake of steel-toed classics, Vegetarian Shoes' VST Engineer Boots represent just as much comfort, strength and quality. Made from a high-quality, breathable and water-repellent microfibre upper - this lightweight Italian material looks, feels and wears, folds, creases, ages and moulds to your feet like good-quality leather, it is highly durable and runs in easily.

The insoles are made of recycled material (including plastic from the ocean), the sturdy profile soles are made for comfort, grip and durability with fine cushioning and flexibility.
You will enjoy these boots for a very long time. Water resistance can be maintained and improved by using non-soluble wax or polish, paying attention to the seams. If necessary, the soles can be repaired or replaced by a good cobbler. Salt water best rinsed off and avoid contact with solvents/gasoline/chemicals. Don't 'force-dry' them on a radiator.
And as with all shoes, it is best to alternate. Although the upper is breathable, it also absorbs moisture, just like leather. Airing out your footwear regularly can really help let them recover to give the longest and best possible service.
